I have my sisters to thank for this blog.
Mary Anna and
Miss Smith . Each has a blog which shows many and varied aspects of their creative lives. My creativity is
restricted more to providing for my girl who is studying in a far away city which is as far to me as a distant land. Last year my work took me to Wellington several times a month so we would meet and have breakfast. This year I don't travel much and so I send a weekly parcel as a way to amuse myself and hopefully at times her. Do you know how hard it is to organise a weekly parcel?
Not hard for any one super organised but for me it's a challenge . first you have to decide what to send, then make or buy what to send , find suitable packaging and then get the parcel into the post no later than Tuesday to make sure it gets there the day before student loan payday.
So what have we here this week?
1 batch of homemade meusli
1 jelly mix
1 packet of mini toblerone bars to share with flatmates
and one box of damp rid to dry out the wardrobe in the damp bedroom.
Well thats all for now. Marg
Yay! A parcel a week! A parcel a week! I love that you have a blog and I will immediately become a follower.
ReplyDeleteDouble yay! you'll have to make sure you put up a new entry after I get the parcel so I still get a suprise. Very cool. Those mini toblerones were delicious and the flatmates LOVE that they get included in Mama Margarets parcels (Thats their new nickname for you).
ReplyDeleteYay again - another Smith family blog on which to "lurk". Actually, yours is the first blog I have ever left a comment on so I am now out of the lurker closet.
ReplyDeleteHope your week is going well.
Mary
hey thanks all of you to leave a comment!! That's really nice of all of you. Because I only send a parcel once a week I'll probably only do a new post once a week unless I get addicted!!!
